Job Overview

Boardrm Recruitment, is looking for an experienced, organised bookkeeper for immediate start on at our office, based in the jewellery quarter in Birmingham. 

Job Description:

  • Processing payments, invoices, income, and receipts – entering data into accounting software (Quick Books or Xero accounting) and filing hard copies
  • Preparing vendor invoices for payment.
  • Verifying the accuracy of business accounts and bank reconciliation.
  • Recording inconsistencies and reconciling inaccuracies.
  • Develop monthly financial statements including cash flow, profit and loss, and balance sheet.
  • Assist in the preparation of VAT returns.
  • Assist in the preparation of year-end accounts for filing.
  • General upkeep of office.
  • Assisting MD and Sales Manager. 

Minimum Requirement:

  • Must be able to commute to the office on days working.
  • Previous experience with Xero or Quick Books Cloud accounting is essential.
  • Highly organised and confident.
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.K. 
  • Bookkeeping 2 years (preferred.)
